Welcome to Exordia Divinity!

Exordia Divinity is a free medieval/fantasy style PBBG (Persistent Browser Based Game). This means that no major downloads are involved.

The aim of the game is simple - build up your empire and destroy your enemies to be the ultimate ruler.
When you first join the game you start off with 1 city which can never be attacked. From this city you are able to launch assaults into the many areas of the game, each one of these areas is called an arena.
What makes Exordia Divinity special is the fact that you can move anywhere within an arena, and that each 'tick' is only 1 minute, thus having some elements of an RTS, so be ready for some serious strategies!

Website
-Status page now displays an overall influence percentage, showing how much of the entire world you control.
-When creating an auction there is now the option to disable marks from being used.
-Added 2 new player avatars.
-Updated auction house and block slightly.
-Replaced the "Create Free Account!" text with a button.
-Website looks has been modified.
-Server side database connections reduced (good).
-Added the ability to have custom site themes.
-Alliances is the 'Global Alliance' page now sort properly.
-The forum now no longer supports HTML but has BBCode instead.
-Everyone's profile now shows their latest auctions.
-In everyone's profile there is now a section where you can post comment so that the owner of the profile and anyone else can see.
-'Screenshots' page has been updated.
-Updated the 'Military Information' page with better visuals and more information.
-The shrinkable chat area now opens when you click one of the chat tabs.
-The whole site now works in Internet Explorer whereas before quite a lot of it wasn't visible and didn't look quite right.
-The preferences page has been updated to look better and show more information.
-Fixed a little bug in the global alliance page which was showing people in the alliance in the wrong order.
-All pages should show better now is search engines.
-News section on the home page and the News page now looks much better.

Flash Map
-Units now move properly client side (flash map).
-You now will get a system message if you win a battle, take over a city or lose a city.
-The chat area is now collapsible to allow for more game play space.
-The home button is now an image.
-You can now see your home city in your home soil arena.
-Arenas should load a little faster.
-Fixed a bug in the chat that made it impossible to see the global chat text if you were in an alliance and the alliance chat was empty.
-You can now design each of your cities with buildings which other people can look at. and you can also now zoom right into a 3rd person view to look around cities.
-If you change your background image for your 'Home Soil' and its not 600*600 it will now scale it to that size so it works properly.
-Fixed a slight bug with the zoom in.
-Arenas now load faster.

Arenas
-Added 'Acharon River' arena, which is on FFA mode.
-Cities will now slowly get population up to a max of 1,000,000.

Bug Fixes/Other
-There are now AI's that will play like real players, they will capture cities, build structures and units and try to expand their empire!
-Changed the chances of units from random events.
-Fixed a few rare bugs.

This update we bring to you the first implementation of two new major things: random events and computer AI. Every once in a while a random event will occur, at the moment this will involve a random selection of units that will spawn at a random location. This will be controlled by an enemy AI that will continuously attack and destroy the nearest city until defeated.

The event feature may be expanded into the future to include such features such as finding cards, units or any number of other things.

A lot of work has also recently gone into improving the Global Alliances, this includes new features such as being able to create custom heroes, a bank where resources/items can be deposited (but not withdrawn) and leaders can now set rank permissions. All of this and more can be found on the global alliances page.

The resources have been re-done, stone and wood have been removed, bronze and silver will act like a currency for buying everything, gold will remain in use for the very special units/buildings and food will be used entirely for army maintenance.

Website
-Added an overview and several filters on the Status page.
-Global Alliance leaders can now, through the Alliances page, promote and demote members across seven ranks, each rank is entirely configurable with permissions.
-Global Alliance leaders can now, change their alliance image.
-Global Alliances now have a bank where items and resources can be stored for purchase of Alliance items.
-Alliance heroes have been added; you create your custom designed heroes on a new page that can be found on the global alliances page.
-Created an area on the home page to show the latest auctions.
-The status page now shows information like units, cities and influence for each arena you have units in.
-Updated the looks of the Auction house, and fixed a graphical glitch in the bid page.
-Improved the global alliance leave function, if you leave your alliance while your the leader, the script will now pick a new leader based on rank and a leave button has been added.
-There was a bug that made it so that if you leave an alliance and join a new one you will be the same rank as you were in the alliance you left, now you will start from the lowest rank.
-In the Arenas page it will now show you as the winner of non-persistent arenas correctly if you won it.

Flash Map
-Military home city build ticks now show correctly.
-Inverted the X and Y displays.
-It is now possible to upload a JPG image to display as the background to your home arena. This can be done from the preferences page.
-When you enter an arena, the default chat will now be Global instead of Arena.
-Convoys routes have been slightly reworked, automatically putting a convoy on a route when it is created.
-Your options will now save.
-The grid is now drawn underneath everything.
-The square on the convoy routes are now triangles and will now point to where the convoys drop off their resources.

Combat
-Added random event AIs.
-When units enter battles they will now move to any units that cannot move, or to cities.

Factions
-Several AI "Factions" have been added. Each AI will use different combinations of units.
-The Soldiers tech tree has had an overhaul, the costs/stats/buildtimes have yet to be adjusted and tested.

Bug Fixes/Other
-Fixed home city system message errors.
-Fixed a few bugs in the affairs page.
-Units moved to your home city will now combine with existing units of the same type.
-Units now will always move where and when you say.
-Resources have been revamped.
-A tiny error (but with a huge effect) has been fixed in the combat systems that has existed for months! Battles should now have much more realistic outcomes.
-It is now possible to build stationary walls, turrets and much more...
-Score will now count units and buildings that are in your Home city.

Just a heads up that we are going to be doing some quite large game play changes over the next few weeks, including an overhaul of the resource system, factions (units & structures), city types and the convoy system.

Just a warning that people could experience quite a few bugs or unexpected changes.

After this is done we will need to reset the arenas (to an extent)to accommodate these changes.

Nothing has been posted in a while, so I'm posting this to prove we are still here and updating!

Website
-The 'Unstarted Public Arenas' block has been slightly improved visually and it is now possible to unregister from a arena by clicking the 'Unregister' button.
-If you are 'watching' a forum thread and someone replies, you will now receive a notification e-mail.
-When signing up, the confirmation e-mail you receive will now not be shown as junk.
-Updated the Global Alliance and Home page.
-The preferences page has been updated to show watched threads.
-Fixed an error on the 'Unstarted Public Arenas' block.
-Admins can now delete individual posts on the forum.
-Players now receive status reports at regular intervals which the user can change in the preferences page.
-Auctions can now be featured. Featured auctions appear at the top of the page.
-Fixed a bug where when you posted in threads sometimes it didn't add to your watched threads properly.
-Removes some of the banner ads.
-Added 'All arenas currently in play' text to the 'Unstarted Public Arenas' block when all arenas are in play.
-Added a last post image button to each thread and turned the last posters name into a link that leads to their profile.
-Improved the look of the forum posts a little bit.
-Some forum pages weren't showing correctly on google, now they are.
-Added confirmations for deleting posts and threads for admins.
-Fixed a minor problem with the forum scroll.
-Added the swear filter to the forum thread names.

Flash Map
-The World Map is now the first page of the game.
-You can now see information about units by mousing over the image.
-Added the template for sorting system messages which include: 'All', 'Built', 'Battles', 'Affairs'.
-Tips are now shown on the loading screen and the tips have been removed from the login block.
-The options drop-down box is now available on the world map.
-You can now increase and decrease the volume of the sound effects and music(no music yet though).
-The 'toggle' menu have been merged into the 'options' menu.
-The non-persistent arenas now show correctly.
-The military and structures tabs have been reordered.
-A basic convoy system is in place and working now.
-A Radio player has been added to the bottom of the flash map page.

Combat
-All the units have had a slight re-balancing of damage modifiers to different types of units.

Bug Fixes/Other
-Fixed a bug where non-featured auctions could not be created unless you had marks.
